How to quickly shutdown windows XP

HELLO GUYS,
EVER WONDERED TO QUICKLY SHUTDOWN WINDOWS XP???
FOLLOW THE STEPS...

STEP 1:

GO TO START AND THEN CLICK ON RUN

STEP 2:

AFTER CLICK ON RUN,BLANK SPACE WILL BE THERE.IN BLANK SPACE,WRITE "regedit" AND THEN CLICK ON "OK" OPTION

STEP 3:

"REGISTRY EDITOR" WINDOW WILL OPEN......NOW EXPAND THE "HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE".

STEP 4:

AFTER EXPANDING THE "HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE",,,, NOW EXPAND THE SYSTEM.

STEP 5:

NOW EXPAND "CONTROLSET003"

STEP 6:

AFTER EXPAND THE "CONTROLSET003",CLICK ON "CONTROL" AND DO NOT EXPAND IT.

STEP 7:

ON THE RIGHT SIDE,, CLICK ON "WaitToKillServiceTimeout"

STEP 8:

AT DEFAULT , "Value Data" SHOULD BE SET AT 20000 WHICH WOULD MEANS THAT YOUR PC WIL SHUTDOWN IN AROUND 20 SECONDS.

STEP 9:

IF YOU WANT TO CUT DOWN YOUR SHUTDOWN TIME,,, THEN SET THE "Value Data" TO 5000.THEN YOUR PC WILL SHUTDOWN IN AROUND 5 SECONDS.

How to hide a folder and its name

Hello Friends,
     Have you ever tried to hide a folder? May be you have used the hide option. But unfortunately sometime it can be caught. So what to do in such a situation? Is there any other way to hide a folder? Well, yes there is a way which does not use any 3rd party software.
Just follow the steps given below:

At first remember the location of the folder.
Right-click the folder and go for rename option.

Now hold 'Alt' key and press '0160'.

     While typing the number you won't see any change.

Now release the 'Alt' key.

     The scene would be: 

     You will see that the folder has no name.

     (This is because a symbol is given instead of name which is not visible to user.)

Now right-click on that folder and select properties -> Customize -> Change icon.

     Here you can select any icon of your choice. But to make it invisible select the empty icon (scroll left-right) and click on OK.

Your folder is now invisible.

To access it:

 Go-to the location of the folder -> hold the left click and drag it throughout the screen.

You will see a small blue line.

 Double click on it, and your hidden folder is open for you.

Note: If your friend knows about this trick then hide it in such a folder were your friend can't check (eg. C-> Program Files).

     (Note: Remember to save it with a 'bat' extension or it won't work.)

3. Run the file.

     You will see a black box which looks like this:

In some colleges WiFi connection is secured by a utility Cyberoam which restricts user to a limited usage as well as the speed.But this cyberoam can be bypassed using a tunneling software called Tunnelguru.Just follow the simple steps listed.

Steps to bypass Cyberoam using Tunnelguru.

1 .Download the tunnelguru software.

2  If you do not have Java installed on your PC the installer will show a error.For this you have to Downoad the Java  Runtime and run it as the administrator.

3. Then again run the installer file of Tunnelguru.If still you face the problem visit http://tunnelguru.com/vpnhelp/Java_Command_Not_Found_TunnelGuru.htm

4. After installing the tunnelguru on your PC, register yourself on the official website of tunnelguru.

5. The registration form will ask you a valid Email address.Provide the Email address and you are registered.

6. After registering you will recieve a mail with a user name and password.

7. Now open the tunnelguru software.

10. Enter the recieved User name and password.

11. Edit the DNS query to 8.8.8.8

12. Then click on start and you are done you will get 150 mb of free data without an username and password of cyberoam.
